[上] UrbaNature體驗

我們的觸感在現代社會往往被禁忌所箝制,然而肌膚之親,是生命中必要的養分。生於鬧市中的大自然生命,雖然這麼近,卻又因為各種原因被區隔,變得不可觸碰,感覺是那麼的陌生。

透過這次獨特的Urban Nature體驗,自然及森林療癒嚮導Amanda會帶你探望在PMQ附近生於斯、長於斯的老樹和牠們的鄰居,探索那徘徊於「掂得」與「唔掂得」之間的關係,以及觸覺對建立人與人、人與自然之間深刻連結的魔力。

關於嚮導/ 導師

Amanda

Amanda 是「香港森林浴」的創辦人、美國自然及森林療癒嚮導及計劃協會(Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides & Programs) 的森林療癒嚮導, 也是認可專業轉化教練 (Certified Professional Coach in Transformation)。香港大學法律系學士和社會科學系碩士畢業生,曾經是執業律師和任職非政府組織多年。2014年親身經歷過危疾,在康復期間,她深深體會到親近大自然、覺察自省的生活方式的療癒力量。

自2017年開始在香港推廣森林療癒,至今在香港帶領了接近100場森林療癒體驗、自然連結活動、講座和工作坊。除了運用在商業和非政府機構工作的豐富經驗,Amanda也把多年的瑜伽、太極和正念修習、滲進她策劃和領導的活動與課程。她希望透過分享森林療癒,幫助都市人與大自然、彼此和自己內心的平靜與智慧重新連結。

梁嘉能

梁嘉能,土生土長香港人,小時書呆子一名。青年時期發現舞蹈之後,他的人生完全改變。舞蹈帶他遊歷世界各地,學演教創研。本外地教學二十年經驗中,包括公眾工作坊到學術發表會,從小學到大專院校。他目前在香港演藝學院舞蹈學院任教,同時在香港大學醫學人文學科作定期分享。

[Part 1] An UrbaNature Experience

Touch is a often a taboo subject in our culture, but it’s also a vital part of our wellbeing. Beings of nature in our urban environment live so close to us and yet so far, because we seldom come into direct contact with them.

Through this unique UrbaNature experience, Nature and Forest Therapy Guide Amanda will take you on a tour to visit the old trees living in the vicinity of PMQ, and explore the distance and intimacy between human and nature.

[Part 2] Our innate wisdoms in touch and movement

Our tactile sense, as well as our sense for movement, are innate and yet overlooked among many of us. Socialization and education oftentimes suppress the full expression and development of these wisdoms. A somatic approach to movement and dance practice can be one of the best ways to let them shine through. Concurrently, PLAY is a great tool during practice to let in the fun, creativity and surprise elements.

With the elements of motion guidance, creative body movement and group practice & sharing, this workshop help with enhancing the flexibility and ability to move your body,  and unlocking your creative genius within! After all, life itself is a constant process swimming between planning and improvisation, isn’t it? Come: play, learn, grow, transcend!

About Your Guide/ Tutor

Amanda

Amanda is the founder of Shinrin Yoku Hong Kong, a Certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs in the US, as well as a Certified Professional Coach in Transformation. Amanda graduated from the University of Hong Kong Faculty of Law (LLB (Hons) and PCLL) and Faculty of Social Sciences (MSocSc in Corporate Environmental Governance). Survivng critical illness in 2014 allowed her to experience the deep healing power of living with awareness in the embrace of nature.

Since 2017, she has guided and facilitated close to 100 forest bathing and nature connection experiences, lectures and workshops. Tapping into her extensive experience as a commercial lawyer and a senior NGO manager and drawing from decades of combined experience in yoga, tai chi and mindfulness practice, she crafts highly relevant and personal experiences that support busy urbanites to reconnect with nature, and find peace in our fast-paced life.

David Leung

Born and raised in Hong Kong, David Leung was a studious and well-behaved child like many. Discovering dance changed his life in his late teens. Dance has taken him to travel the world learning, performing, teaching, creating and researching. As a seasoned teacher of movement/dance of two decades, he has taught for various institutions locally and overseas, from public workshops to academic presentations; from primary schools to tertiary institutions. He currently lectures for the School of Dance of HKAPA, as well as for the Medical Humanities program for HKU.

His love for practice and research has led him to various methodologies in dance, contact improvisation, Pilates, Gyrotonic, yoga, qigong, taiji, Feldenkrais Method and others. He loves to create and co-create opportunities for anyone interested to experience and grow in the beauty, wisdom and philosophy of movement/dance. He believes that this is vital to holistic education and holistic healing.
